Chris leads RegGenome’s technical development and operations – ingesting and classifying documents so that they can be converted to structured regulatory content and made available to our customers via APIs. He also owns the implementation roadmap to support future products and use cases.

Chris is a technologist with considerable experience in building software systems, and a special interest in Natural Language Processing and Information Retrieval. He has worked in a series of search and language start-ups including Grapeshot (acquired by Oracle) and SwiftKey (acquired by Microsoft) and then became involved in RegGenome via its pilot project RegSimple (a regulatory search engine and benchmarking tool), developed at the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance at the Cambridge Judge Business School.
